Space Ambient Relaxation: Music from Space - Subscribe on YouTube
Besides doing astrophotography at night and working as an iOS software developer during the day, I'm also passionate about making music. I always wanted to combine those hobbies, and I recently got an idea to create some background ambient music for my astrophotography and skywatching sessions. This is how my new Space Ambient Relaxation YouTube channel (Subscribe!) was born!
I create relaxing Space Music, often called space ambient or music from space. It's instrumental, chill, sometimes dark, and sometimes calm. But first and foremost - relaxing. You can use it to focus, sleep, relax, work, study, or for your astrophotography and skywatching sessions!
If you are a fan of soothing, relaxing, moody, atmospheric, cinematic sci-fi space music, like:
- 2001 a Space Odyssey Music
- Blade Runner Vangelis Ambient Vibes
- Interstellar, Cyberpunk, Dune, Star Wars (Yoda theme!) Music
- General Cosmic, Space, and Science Fiction Soundscapes Relaxation
Then you should find the relaxation, calm and deep space ambient music videos I create surprisingly pleasurable!
- AMBIENT COSMOS: 1 Hour of Epic Space Music
- Planetarium and Observatory Background Space Ambient Music for Stargazing, Astronomy & Skywatching
- ORION COSMOS: 1 Hour of Calm Ambient Straight from Space
- ETHEREAL PILLARS - Dreamy & Atmospheric Space Ambient Music for Soothing Relaxation
- ANTIMATTER - Moody Dark Space Ambient to Focus • Productivity Music for Absolute Concentration ✨

Astrophotography From the Darkest Sky Possible (Bortle 1) - YouTube
What Does a Bortle 1 Class Sky Look Like? In this video, we travel to the Okie-Tex Star Party in Oklahoma to experience some of the darkest skies in the world. We set up our telescopes to capture deep-sky objects in the night sky, but just being out there with our own eyes was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Tracked Astrophotography with the Sigma fp L and Move Shoot Move Star Tracker - YouTube
In this on-location vlog, Ian Norman brings us along on a full night of shooting with the Sigma fp and fpL cameras and he tries his hand at some tracked astrophotography using the Move Shoot Move Star Tracker.
Radian 75 Full Review - A Great Small Refractor All Around
The Radian 75 is a small and light refractor telescope with an aperture of 75mm, a focal length of 405mm, and a focal ratio of f/5.4. It is full-frame-ready and was designed as a Petzval telescope, meaning it has a built-in reducer/flattener and will not give you any issues with back focus! In this post, we’ll put this small refractor telescope to the test from our Bortle 9 city backyard. We’ll use our full-frame monochrome camera and see how the telescope performs when imaging different deep-sky
I Failed At Astrophotography, So I Decided To Learn More About It
I found out quite early how difficult this area of photography could be. During my first attempt to learn this incredible skill, I failed to understand what I needed to create this stunning imagery. Why was exposure important? And what the heck did my lens have to do with anything?
I decided it was time to revisit my failure and find out what I would need to succeed in this type of photography. **

Webb Captures Stunning new View of "Pillars of Creation" – Astronomy Now
The James Webb Space Telescope has captured a spectacular new view of the “Pillars of Creation” at the heart of the Eagle Nebula, an infrared look at the towering columns of gas and dust in a vast stellar nursery that became one of the Hubble Space Telescope’s most iconic photos. Webb’s view reveals thousands of previously unseen stars in the translucent interstellar medium surrounding the pillars and a multitude of delicate swirls and eddies sculpted in the columns by embedded protostars.

APOD: 2022 December 5 - Pleiades: The Seven Sisters Star Cluster
Have you ever seen the Pleiades star cluster? Even if you have, you probably have never seen it as large and clear as this. Perhaps the most famous star cluster on the sky, the bright stars of the Pleiades can be seen with the unaided eye even from the depths of a light-polluted city. With a long exposure from a dark location, though, the dust cloud surrounding the Pleiades star cluster becomes very evident.
